We are pleased to announce that a new firmware update for SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses for Sony E-mount is now available.

[Benefits of the update]
- It has improved the AF speed.
- It has improved the AF accuracy when the Face Detection setting is turned on, while using AF.
- With the Sony α9 or Sony α6400, it has corrected the phenomenon whereby the AF stopping position occasionally had a variation when shutter was half pressed repeatedly during auto focusing on the same subject.
- For customers who have Sony α9, please update the camera’s firmware to Ver.5.00 or later.

[Benefits of the update]

[Benefit of the update]
- With cameras which incorporate DMF mode, when using the AF while the MF assist function is turned on, it has corrected the phenomenon whereby it automatically displays a magnified view as it gets in focus.
- For customers who have Sony α9, please update the camera’s firmware to Ver.5.00 or later.

* After completing the firmware update, please remove the battery pack from the camera and put it back in again.
